My 1994 325i automatic transmission drives fine for few hundred feet, than goes neutral, I shut off and restart in 20 seconds and it runs and changes gears fine, than does the same, Any ideas?
woah, watertown cool. I'd check the trans fluid. add if it needs some.
also, have you tried starting out in the lowest gear and "manually" shifiting when the revs get high? like maybe 1,3,4 gears are fine but 2 is hosed??

It Runs just fine when I start, it shifts normal, than less than half a mile it goes neutral, i shut off and start the car, is back to normal again for few hundred feet, than does the same, I checked the oil, is full.
